The selection trials for the Mitsui Shoji T-2- League held at Police Gyumkhana ground today, proved to be quite a long process and tough job for the selectors – Messrs Santosh Shinde, Vinayak Samant and Bhavin Thakkar (all former Mumbai Ranji players) as around 300 players turning up. This was stated by Mr Jwala Singh, the chief organizers, who supervised the trials.

The selectors in the end picked up 13 batsmen, 8 medium pacers and 6 spinners. The selected 27 will be included in the five teams ( Bandra Heroes, Thane Marathas, Shivaji Park Warriors, Ghatkopar Jets and Mumbai Police City Riders).

BATSMEN: Deepak Naik, Shamit Chvan, Prajnesh Patel, Deepak Jadhav, Yash Jadhav (WK), Vishal Adajadida; Ajit Rai (wk), Dharmnendra Sharma, Ankit Tiwari, Subhash Chourasia, Akshay Upasane; Vishal Kumar (wk) and Adnan Siddique.
MEDIUM PACERS: Avdhut Patil, Deepak Gupta, Rahul Choudhari, NooruddinKhan, Manas Raikar,Ram Kishan Yadav, Atul Jadhav, Mukesh Singh. SPINNERS: Pravin Devendra and Krishkesh Toraskar (offspin): Faiz Ahmed and Deep Singh (legspin) and Sandeep Jagdhankar and Harish Singh (leftarm spin). .
