Every moment of our life is influenced and governed by “politics” but being a ‘Decent’ citizen , we only donate our ‘vote’ and let ourselves free from our political role , cursing politics every time … and then we make our mindset stating “Politics is ‘bad’ , Politics is polluted” !! Well we are civilized people, politics is not our job. When the citizens are such honest, how does the country’s democratic political system gets corrupted ?

Let’s think for a moment , will the biggest democracy of the world prevail without the political process ? The answer is NO … and when the ‘civilized’ citizen does not govern it, then unfortunately power goes to the evil mindset which is still going on… Let’s ponder upon this – Is Politics really bad or are we making it worse by not getting involved in it? ..
We all expect that ‘Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Savitri and Lakshmi Bai’ should be born in this country but not in my house … ” Why the Farmers and the great citizens of this country are still quiet when there are suicides , digital revolution happening in India ?
We the performers of Theatre of Relevance have taken a positive step. The play “Rangati” written by internationally renowned theatre thinker and philosopher Manjul Bhardwaj , inspires audience (public) to churn on the above questions.
Theater of Relevance practitioners and well wishers are organizing play “Rajgati” in Shivaji Natya Mandir, Dadar, on 2nd October, 2018, at 11 am. The performing team is Ashwini Nandedkar, Yogini Chowk, Sayali Pawaskar, Komal Khamkar , Tushar Mhaske, Swati Wagh and other artists.
“Theater of Relevance” philosophy, is an artistic movement and is revolting against facisim for last 26 years.
Globalization and fascism has eradicated the values of ‘equality and freedom’ and has raised disorder in society resulting in destruction and violence. Violence destroys humanity and Art awakens humanity. Art gives human the sense of humanity. Art creates humanity !
Play ‘Rajgati’ demolishes facism and creates consciousness about equity, justice, humanity and constructive constitutional system for pure ‘political change’, which rejuvenates self esteem and destroys inferiority complex within self..
It is an effort by Theatre of Relevance to make the ‘political system’ pious and relevant !
