MHAL Senior Division hockey
ABHI Foundation produced a solid determined performance and clinched a close 4-3 win against Ave Maria SC in a thrilling Senior Division match of the MHAL League 2018, and played at the MHAL-Mahindra Stadium, Churchgate on Thursday.
In a match of fluctuating fortunes, the young ABHI Foundation side managed to hold the edge and scored through the efforts of Rishab Paul, Romesh Pillay, Aniket Muttaiah and Ramkrishna B., all contributing with one goal each. For Ave Maria SC, Mukul P. scored twices and Vrushabh T. got one.
Results – Senior Div: Companeroes SC 2 (Deep Mistry, Ryland D’Monte) beat Central Railway Mumbai Division 1 (Rajendra Yadav).
ABHI Foundation 4 (Rishab Paul, Romesh Pillay, Aniket Muttaiah, Ramkrishna B.) beat Ave Maria SC 3 (Mukul P. 2, Vrushabh T.).
