Air India Western Region scored an emphatic 7-0 win against BARC Sports Club in a Second Division match of the MHAL (Mumbai Hockey Association Limited) League 2016-2017 and played at the MHAL-Mahindra Stadium, Churchgate on Sunday.
Vrushabh A. was the leading scorer with three goals, while Jitendra G. struck a brace of goals and Rahul R. and Ankush K. chipping in with one each to round off the tally of goals.
The First Division match to be played between, Central Railway Mumbai Division and Catholic Gymkhana was called off due to incessant rains.
