Alfa Football Academy powered by a fine hat-trick from Rajendra Pol went on to record a comfortable 4-0 win against an inexperienced Oscar Foundation ‘B’ in a Third Division match of the MDFA League 2017-2018 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel. Kunjbihari Chatruvedi had scored the first goal in the seventh minute before Pol struck in the 25th, 29th and 49th minute to complete the winning tally.
In another match, Somaiya Sports Academy overcame Kentaurians FC 1-0 with Mohammed Malparia scoring the only goal of the match.
In the third match, Judean United SC defeated Storm Chasers FC 2-0. Strikers Varun Dey and Manoj Singh scored a goal each for the winners.
