‘Baahubali 2’- the biggest Indian epic fantasy

‘Baahubali 2 -The Conclusion’ has been doing good business with multiple shows from morning till late night in many theatres, because of summer vacation. But, is this film really worth spending thousands of rupees for the entire family ? This is a good question raised by many sensible people. ‘Bahubali -2’ does contain many special effects in spell binding scenes in the screenplay supported by equally good cinematography capturing  the action scenes very well , but most of these scenes are fight scenes filled with violence.Bahubali 2

In the part I of this film importance was given to beautiful locations with equal importance to female artistes. But, in Part 2 we find Prabhas, Rana Daggubatti & Sathyaraj dominating the film’s screenplay. The character of Devasena played by Anushka Shetty was shown very strong initially, but she is shown helpless in the later part of the film. Surprisingly, Tamannaah who had better scope in part 1, is just seen in few war scenes, in concluding part of this film.

Nevertheless, director S. S. Rajamouli who has left some flaws in his writing in this second part, has successfully presented this spectacular show to entertain the masses. But, surely this film is not for kids, as it is filled with violence. Music of this film is not impressive, except for the suitable background music and wonderful sound effects.  Performances are good from all the artistes, however, some of the special effects during fight scenes don’t look realistic. But, surely the film can be called the biggest Indian epic fantasy.
