Well Known Film Journalist Dilip Thakur has increased the count of books written by him on Cinema, to 28 now. A Veteran Film Journalist, Dilip who is just passionate about films, began his career as a Film Jouranlist, 32 years ago with ‘Navashakti’ newspaper of Free Press Group of Publications. After taking voluntary retirement from his job, for the past few years, he has been working as a Freelance Film Journalist.
With his vast knowledge about the Film industry, two years ago, Dilip had completed Silver Jubilee of his books. They were all humour filled publications giving all the details about working of this film industry and artistes. In the past, Dilip has written several books on Rekha & Amitabh separately. The book on Amitabh ‘A Amitabh cha’ became so popular that he came out with another book on him, titled ‘B Bachchan Cha’. His other books, ‘Filmi Masala Papad’, ‘Upper Stall’, ‘Haus Full’ (Full of Passion) also received good response. Last year , he was felicitated by Sanskruti Kaladarpan, for his contribution to film industry, through Film Journalism.
Now, Dilip has written two more books titled ‘’Cinemala Chala Tumhi’ and ‘Shegdi’. The first book describes Hindi cinema since 1970 , till date, sharing his thoughts about cinema and people associated with it. His second book suitably titled ‘Shegdi’, talks about what’s cooking is Bollywood? Through this book, he has used his ideology to describe some interesting happenings in film industry in the form of gossip.
