Dilip Thakur’s ‘Galla Peti’ speaks about changing trends in Bollywood


For more than 30 years now, Film Journalist Dilip Thakur has been covering Bollywood. Having begun his career in Journalism with Free Press Group’s ‘NavaShakti’ Publication, he has done lot of leg work, to collect film news from one studio to other. But, Dilip’s job was not limited to day to day reporting in the news paper. After taking voluntary retirement, few years ago, Dilip has focussed his attention on writing books, on his experience with Bollywood. His latest book is ‘Galla Peti’ ( In Marathi), which speaks about changing trends in Bollywood films and their box office collections. This 248 pages book published by Paras Publications, Kolhapur, is priced at Rs.310/-

 

This is Dilip’s 26th Publication, but there is still desire in him to write more about Bollywood film and artistes. Today, he works as a freelance Journalist, writing his columns for various publications.he is also invited as guest speaker by different Marathi TV channels. Recently, he was conferred the best Journalist award by Sanskruti kala Darpan, a social organisation.
