‘Force 2’- An action thriller which pays tribute to RAW agents

We are all aware that RAW agents sacrifice their lives for the country.  But, in spite of their sacrifice, their identity as RAW agents is disowned by their Government, if they are found guilty by the country, where they carry out their operations. Latest released film ‘Force 2’ directed by Abhinay Deo deals with an issue, when we find three RAW agents in China killed one after the other. One of them realising trouble, sends a message through a book to his dear friend ACP Yashvardhan( John Abraham)  , informing him about a Spy working in Budhapesh embassy, who is behind destroying their  RAW team.Force 2 poster

Yash updates this information  to RAW director, who in turn suggests Yash to team up with East European –in-charge Kamaljeet Kaur alias KK ( Sonakshi Sinha) and they proceed to Budhpest. The rest of the film’s story is all about their action filled investigation to trace the culprit and foil his action plan.

The entire 2 hour long film is full of action sequences and there is very less of story part in this film. The role of Yashvardhan is tailor made for an actor like John Abraham, but Sonakshi Sinha playing KK has also impressed with her perfect body language. Tahir Raj Bhasin  as Shiv Sharma is also very impressive in his fourth film, where he has better scope to prove his mettle. Boman Irani and Genelia D’souza have very little to offer through their cameo roles. Raj Babbar has been wasted in this film with hardly one scene to his share.

Music has very little scope in this film and hence Ram Sampath couldn’t create much impact . However wonderful cinematography by Imre Juhasz &  Mohana Krishna has captured the foreign locations very well. Action film lovers would love to watch this thriller and John Abraham will not let down his fans. The film pays tributes to all those RAW agents , who have sacrificed their lives for the country. Above all, his chemistry with Sonakshi Sinha has worked very well.
