Indian FC proved far too superior for Farm House Sports Club as they coasted to a thumping 4-0 win in their Men’s Open match of the 16th Kalina Football League, organised by the Our Lady of Egypt Parish Church Sports Committee, and played at the Our Lady of Egypt Church ground, Kalina.
The highlight of Indian FC’s victory was the fine performance by Darren Soans who struck a brace of goals, while his teammates Tyson Pereira and Sumit Kovekar netted one apiece to complete the rout.
Meanwhile, in another encounter, Kalina Rangers also enjoyed a good outing as they tamed Egyptian Boys 3-1. For Rangers, the goals came through the efforts of Sachin Rawat, Melwyn Barboza and Aashish Rao, while Egyptian Boys pulled one back through Glendon D’Silva.
