Argentine professional footballer Lionel Messi has many fans scattered all over the world including India. And one of them is Mukarrum Mapari, 8th standard student of Fatima High School, Vidyavihar, Mumbai. Mukarrum is the captain of his school’s Football team and takes part in the Inter school and district level and private tournaments in Mumbai. Mukarrum plays as defence stopper back and is working hard to make further progress in this game. He is just passionate about this game and is thankful to his school authorities for the encouragement given to sports.

Mukarrum is well aware that Football is becoming popular in our country and is also informed by his seniors about the professionalism in this game. He watched all the world cup and Olympics football matches live on television and believes in watch and improve method. He receives a lot of encouragement from his parents and elder brother.
