Junior Dev Shroff caused the biggest upset when he outlasted seasoned and former state champion Eric Fernandes in a thrilling deciding tie that saw Juhu Vile Parle Gymkhana scoring 3-2 win over favourites Andheri YMCA on the opening day of the MSDTTA Inter-Club premier division tie held at Juhu Vile Parle Gymkhana here today. Only last week, this talented junior had displayed his class, while playing for MLWB-KKB team in the Mumbai City District Inter Club league.

After both the teams were locked at 2-2, lefthander Dev not only matched Eric stroke for strokes but at times he even outhit the YMCA stalwart to win the deciding tie 12-10, 13-15, 12-10, 11-9.
