Madanpura FC romped to a comfortable 2-0 win against Sporting Options in a Second Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League – 2014-15, played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Sunday. Strikers Venkatesh Deoukar and Kishen Singh scored a goal each for the winners.
In another match, Chemburites SC scored a hard-fought 3-2 win over I.C. United. Abhishek Raje netted a brace and Harshal Ramraje got one for the Chembur side, while Karl Sequeira scored both the goals for losers.
