Godrej & Boyce carved out a hard-fought 1-0 win against Indigo FC in a close Third Division play-off quarter-final match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2015-2016, and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Monday.
After both sides failed to find the net in the first half, striker Pizan Kodia hit the target in the 50th minute to secure the win for Godrej & Boyce and seal their place in the last four round. Godrej will take on Skorost FC in the semi-finals.
