Maintaining fine run of form, promoted outfit J.M.J. Sports Club made a strong winning start as they defeated Miners SC 3-0 in their opening Second Division match of the MDFA League 2017-2018 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Thursday.
Showing good understanding and team as they completely dominated play from the outset. Dashing striker Rohan Kadam fired J.J.J. in front with a clinical strike in the 16th minute and then doubled the lead in the 34th minute.
Merwyn Fernandes, who had a great game in the midfield scored the third goal in the 62nd minute to round of the winning margin.
