‘Siya Ke Ram’ also called ‘Maryada Purushottam Siya Ke Ram’ is a new mythological TV seriea on Star Plus channel. Produced by Nikhil Sinha maker of ‘Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev’ the serial which began on Monday 16th November , presents the story, based on epic Ramayana which has been penned by Valmiki. The serial will present unseen version of the Ramayana from Sita’s perspective. This serial will feature Ashish Sharma and Madirakshi Mundle in the roles of lord Rama and Sita in main lead.

The first episode has been impressive with good beginning with wonderful performances coming from talented and versatile artistes. The dialogues are well written and well designed sets and good photography makes this serial a worth watch. The serial will be telecast from Monday to Friday for one hour, between 8 pm and 9 pm for one hour.
In the first episode we saw King Dashrath played by Dalip Tahil, Sumitra played by Sampada Vaze, Kaushalya by Snigdha Akolkar , King Janak played by Bijay anand, while Sunayna Devi played by Bhargavi Chirmule. Karthik Jayaram plays Ravana in this serial, while Nikhil Narag plays the role of Lakshmana.
