A five star performance from Tanaisha Anand, who scored five goals, was the highlight of St. John’s High School’s authoritative 7-0 win against CBM High School, Sion in Girls’ Pool-A match of the MHAL Inter-Schools (Boys’ and Girls’ Under-16) Hockey Tournament, and played at the MHAL-Mahindra Stadium on Thursday. Zaneta Quadros scored the other two goals for St. John’s who enjoyed a solid 4-0 half-time lead.
In a Pool-B encounter, Durello Convent, Bandra romped to a fluent 4-0 win against Guru Nanak High School after leading 1-0 at the interval. Strikers Mitali Malusare and Diya Thakur, both scored a brace of goal to complete Durello’s win.
