Renowned Film actress Waheeda Rehman will be felicitated for her contribution to film industry, at the Third Eye Asian Film Festival, which begins from 24th December in Mumbai. The Film Festival , which is in its 14th year, will be inaugurated at te Ravindra Natya Mandir, Prabhadevi, Mumbai,by Maharashtra Cultural Minister Mr. Vinod Tawde.
Before the beginning of the inaugural film to be screened, Ms. Waheeda Rehman will be felicitated by Film maker Shyam Benegal, who has been specially invited for this purpose. Besides Waheeda Rehman, Dr. Mohan Agashe will also receive the honours, for his performance in the Marathi film ‘Astu’. The festival will go on till 31st December 2015, during which period, the film lovers will have an opportunity to watch the films made by reputed film makers from Asia.
