Pranav Dhanavade enters history Books


15 year old Pranav Dhanawde of KC gandhi School, kalyan, scored an unbeaten 1009 runs, the highest individual score in the game of cricket.By creating this new record, he has entered history book of cricket. He scored 1009* off 323 balls, with 129 fours and 59 sixes. His team declared at 1465*.

He broke the 116-year old world record of highest individual score in representative cricket, held by Arthur Collins of England Cricket since 1899.

 

Pranav was playing his match against Arya Gurukul School, in the H.T.Bhadari Inter aschools Cricket tournament, organised by Mumbai Cricket Association.

 

Many top crickers like Sachin Tendulkar, Mahindra Singh Dhoni, Harbhajan Singh and Ajinkya Rahane have tweeted to congratulate trhis young boy, on achieving this most difficult target and create a new record in cricket.

 

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadavnis has also contratulated Pranav, through a special message.
