India will fight against Bangladesh in men’s final & Nepal in women’s final

The 13th South Asian Championships begin in Kathmandu-Pokhara, Nepal, Kho-Kho matches are underway in Kathmandu. Today, both men and women teams of India have won the semifinal matches with ease. India vs Bangladesh in men & India vs Nepal in women will be fighting in the final for gold medal. Mumbai and India’s leading player Shreyas Raul has said that we will play aggressive tactics in tomorrow’s final, saying that India will win the gold medal.

In the men’s semi-final match of the morning session, India defeated Sri Lanka 24-08 by sixteen points to reach the final. In this match, India won the toss and accepted the first defence. B. Raju defended for three minutes & thirty seconds and struck one wicket in the attack, Shreyas Raul defended for two minutes & forty second and struck out 4 players, Captain Balasaheb Pocarde defended for two minutes ten seconds, Munir Basha defended for two minutes & he took two wickets,  Abhinandan Patil scored seven wickets, Deepak Madhav and Sagar Poddar scored each three wickets apiece. Sri Lankan Ranthunga and Lakmal took two wickets each. But they couldn’t save their team from the big bang.

In the women’s semi-final match, India defeated Sri Lanka 25-01 by an inning & 24 points to reach the final. India’s Pournima Sakpal defended for four minutes thirty seconds, with supporting to pournima, Krishna Yadav defended an unbeaten four and half minutes. Kajal Bhor dismissed seven players in India’s attack, Sashmita Sharma, Praveen Nisha Aishwarya Sawant and Ishita Biswas each took three wickets apiece but no one Sri Lankan player was able to show a special shine.

 

 

In the men’s second semi-final, Bangladesh celebrated victory on Nepal by a score of 24-23 (9-8, 8-9 and 7-6) by a point keeping one minute spare. The match was over (17-17), then for result of the match extra innings was played, and Bangladesh put up a brilliant game in this innings 07-06 to record their amazing victory and reach the final. In the women’s second semi-final match, Nepal defeated to Bangladesh & wins the match by spare one inning & a point (07-06).
