Mumbai Suburban win Men’s Team event of State Kho Kho Championship

Rishikesh Murchavade and kajal Bhor best all rounder    

 

With the approval of the Maharashtra Kho-Kho Association and under the guidance of the Solapur Kho Kho Association, state Kho-Kho Championship was  organised in association with Utkarsh Krida Mandal and Haribhai Devkaran School, Solapur. In today’s match, Mumbai suburbs have become invincible in men group and Pune in women’s group. In the first year, of Rishikesh Murchavade received the King Sambhaji trophy  and Kajal Bhore received the queen Ahilya trophy with Rs. Ten thousand were honoured.

Mumbai Suburban defeated Pune by 59 seconds in tie breaker round. The match was finished with 17-17 score. After that both teams was score 07-07 points in extra inning. In this match Mumbai Suburban’s Hrishikesh Murchavade defended for one minute and twenty seconds in both innings and took two wickets in his attack, Akshay Bhangare defended for one minute & twenty seconds, one minute & forty seconds and one minute & thirty seconds in his inning. Aniket Pote defended for one minute & ten seconds and one minute & thirty seconds & he took five wicktes in his attack.

Pune’s Sagar Lengar defended for one minute & twenty second, one minute and one minute and he took five wickets in his attack. Suyash Gargate defended foe one minute twenty seconds, one minute forty seconds and two minutes and he took two wickets. Akshay Ganpule defended for one minute forty seconds, one minute and two minutes ten second and he took one wicket.

 

After five consecutive wins in the women’s group, Pune beat the Thane in  the women’s final, Pune secured an easy victory by two points (11-09) with keeping two minutes & forty-second spare. In this match, Pune’s Komal Darwatkar defended for two minutes thirty seconds and one minutes forty second, Snehal Jadhav defended for two minutes and one minute thirty seconds, & she took one wicket, Kajal Bhor took five wickets & defended for a minute and twenty seconds in her inning. Thane’s Reshma Rathod & Minal Bhoir give their best performance.
