Mumbai Girl Aditee Dandekar has bagged Gold for the second time in a row in Khelo India Youth Games 2020 at Guwahati today. Last year she was the champion and this year too she bagged all round championship in Under 21 age group. Though Maharashtra bagged maximum 74 medals topping the medal tally, they are facing competition from Haryana as far as the Gold medals are concerned. Maharashtra have bagged 17 Gold medals.
They have big hopes for more Gold medals in the game of table tennis. In Under 17 Girls both Maharashtra girls Diya Chitale and Swastika Ghosh will fight in the finals, assuring Gold for Maharashtra. Another Maharashtra player Hrishikesh Malhotra also plays the finals of Boys Under 17 against Aadesh Chettri. Mumbai girl Srushti Halengadi has entered finals of Girls Under 21 where she faces Anusha Kuthumble, while another Mumbai boy Regan Albuquerque will also be playing finals of Boys Under 21 .
