The Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi today addressed the nation through his programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ today morning at 11 am. Today being the auspicious day of Akshay Tritiya he appealed to people to stay at home. He also wished the Muslim community on the occasion of ongoing Ramzan and appealed to them to offer prayers at home. Speaking about India’s united fight against Corona, he said, “India’s fight against Corona is people driven and that it was on the right track.” He also emphasized the importance of Ayurveda and Yoga for immunity. 
Thanking the farmers , corona warriors team comprising of Doctors, Health staff, Policemen, municipal workers ,bankers and other volunteers, he applauded their selfless service during this hard time faced by the country. He appreciated the efforts of Air Force, railways and post offices in delivering the most essential medicines to every part of India. He also thanked the state governments for their support and suggested people to make a habit of using mask even in post covid period. “I salute the spirit of India and I appeal to all those who would voluntarily like to join the group of corona warriors by visiting coronawarriors.gov.in .”
