Calling this 39th Foundation Day a touch stone for resilience, Mr. Chintala said, “We are all fortunate to be the Building Blocks of this epic organisation. Adverse economic situations befell on Indian economy at random intervals during the past near 4 decades of our existence didn’t deter us and NB metamorphosed everytime to come stronger. Phenomenal growth post WFC of 2008 is a testimony to that. Once in a century pandemic which is shaking the confidence of humanity at the moment shouldn’t deter us from pursuing our avowed service & business goals as the country & society shortly emerging victorious from this calamity may require better, qualitative, affordable and traceable food ingredients and other agri raw materials for industry. NB shouldn’t step back in providing much needed services & fuel(finance) to meet the expectations.”

“Peeping into future, I look at NABARD emerging much stronger & confidently entering the Fourth Decade (next year) by its unassailable work during this 39th year,” he concluded wishing  ‘Satamanam Bhavati, Satayushman NABARD’.

Incidentally, On the eve of NABARD Foundation day, Mr. Chintala had written a thought provoking  article expressing his opinion in Financial Express on the topic of ‘How the migrants should be encouraged to invest in medium term and long term livelihood options’. And this has been very timely, after taking over as Chairman of NABARD very recently.
