Have you heard about another deadly virus spreading near Indo-China border? If not, watch the latest film ‘London Confidential’ released on OTT platform by Zee 5 recently. The story of this film created by Hussain Zaidi suggests that China has masterminded this virus and an undercover agent of Indian intelligence is about to uncover this plot in the upcoming Virology conference which is just seven days away. But, he goes missing.
The Indian Ambassador in UK Ms. Nirupama Dutta ( Kulraj Randhava) is under immense pressure to keep the news under wraps . However, at the same time, we find the Indian Intelligence based there becoming active and head of the team Uma Kulkarni ( Moumi Roy) and her team comprising of Arjun ( Purab Kohli) and others seek the help of Indian ambassador to trace the mole in their own team. A trap is laid and they uncover the mask of the real culprit on the day of the conference.
Now, what is confidential in this film is for the audience to decide, as perception differs from person to person. But, the film fails to have a tight grip on some important happenings the screenplay. However, director Kanwal Sethi has handled the lead artistes very effectively, to extract the best out of them. He has also tried to show the difficulties faced by the RAW team members in their personal life. Good cinematography by Ewan Mulligan has tried to give some realistic look to this film. Music score by Sanket Naik is also satisfactory. Certainly a worth watch film for action lovers, for its timely subject. But, don’t expect much from this 77 minute length film.
