Twins Mann & Meet bring pride to Parmar family with their excellence in Table Tennis  

We have seen Twins like Nithya & Vithya , Aditya and Arjun, Anvi and Saanvi performing together in different sports like Athletics, Football and Swimming at the national level. Now, one more pair in the form of Mann and Meet add to this list. 10 year old Mann and Meet Parmar are doing remarkably well in the game of table tennis. Studying in 5th standard at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar School, Vikhroli, Mann and  Meet are playing table tennis for the past four years at the Star TT Academy managed by their father Kiran Parmar, at Vikhroli.

The hard work put in by their father, has started showing the results this year, as both Mann and Meet have started taking part in the various TT competitions, including the Inter Club TT League, conducted by The Suburban Table Tennis Association. The Star Academy has produced many other promising youngsters.  11 year old  Hridaan Pol, student of Podar International School(CBSE) who was runner-up in the first District ranking TT tournament this year, also belongs to their academy .  Their Star Academy teams numbering around 10 had taken part in the Inter Club League in different divisions, earlier this year and have won three trophies.

In the recently concluded MCF-TSTTA District ranking TT tournament, both Mann and Meet entered the finals of Boys U-11 group, with Mann defeating his brother Meet in the finals. Though Meet lost to his brother in U-11 finals, he did well to grab a Bronze medal in the U-13 Boys singles. He also reached the Round of 32 at the Vadodara National Ranking TT Championship held recently.

According to their parents, it is their dream to see their sons playing for India and see them winning medals for our country. Mann dreams is very keen on meeting Ma Long, while Meet has a hobby of painting.

With proper encouragement from their parents Kiran and Manisha Parmar and also their school authorities, both Mann and Meet are all set to create new records in this game of table tennis. Magzmumbai wishes both of them a bright future.
