Suhas Shirvalkar was a well known Marathi writer, who has written about 300 books, mainly social novels, detective stories, short stories and one act plays. Through his detective thrillers, he presented many memorable characters and one of them was Barrister Amar Vishwas. With Rajeev Khandelwal playing the title role of Amar Vishwas, a renowned defense lawyer who defends a murder accused – a struggling actress Bahar( Urvashi Pardeshi) , who is under trial for the murder of her film director Jessu Momin. Amar Vishwas strogly believes that the actress has refused to engage in the casting couch system and is not guilty. He takes on well known Public Prosecutor Digambar Dixit played by former romantic hero of 90s Ravi Behl; during the interesting court proceedings.
In this film, we find Rajeev Khandelwal with the help of his assistants Sonali ( Garvita Sadhwani) and Goldie(Anil Charanjeett) also doing the investigative part on their own, besides taking the help of Police Investigative Officer( PIO) ACP Khandekar played by popular Marathi actor Saurabh Gokhale. There are other important characters like Akbar Baig ( Aamir Ali), Mohini( Barkha Bisht), Sudarshan( Siddharth Shaw) and others, who have given excellent performances.
Director Shashant Shah has presented this suspense filled courtroom drama very well, generating a lot of curiosity among the viewers, from the start till end; and extracting the best from all the artistes. Moreover, every character finds importance in this film.
