The recently concluded BRICS Business Forum, hosted by India in Delhi, achieved grand success, considering the important issues discussed during this big event. In his thought provoking speech addressed on this occasion, Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi called for turning the grouping’s collective strength into global solutions.

The Prime Minister highlighted India’s growing capabilities in startups, digital payments, semi conductors, critical minerals and other strategic sectors, while calling for stronger trade, investment and innovation partnerships across BRICS. He also explained how India was progressing to emerge as a hub for global solutions. He also emphasized on how India’s Unified Payments Interface ( UPI) has given new momentum to financial inclusion and digital transactions at population scale.
Mr. Modi also gave an example of how since 2014,our country had entered into free trade agreements with nearly 40 countries around the world. Finally, he made it very clear on how the Global trade can move forward, only when the sea lanes were secure, supply routes remained open and seafarers were safe. The success of this important event and the quick response received from participating countries and other well wishers around the world, is itself the best birthday gift for Hon. PM Mr. Narendra Modi, who celebrates his birthday today.
