Till now, we have only noticed larger than life experience from Hollywood films, especially war films, based on fiction. But, Indian film producers Shobhu Yarlagadda , Prasad Devineni and director S.S.Rajamouli have proved everybody wrong. They have presented their latest film ‘Bahubali’ originally made in Telugu, which is also dubbed in Hindi and presented by Karan Johar. This film does give larger than life experience to all the film lovers and makes every Indian feel proud of their spectacular and technically well equipped presentation.
‘Bahubali – The beginning ’ is a fantasy, which is set on the backdrop of a period in Indian history, when Kings ruled their empires, which after their death used to go to their inheritor. So, ‘Bahubali’ is almost on the lines of another Indian epic ‘Mahabharat’ or you can even compare it with Hollywood films like ‘Lord of Rings’ & ‘300’. You will find lot of similarities with some of the characters of these films.
The film impresses on account of wonderful production design by Sibu Cyril, art direction of Manu Jagadh, fabulous cinematography by Senthil Kumar , amazing costume designs by Rama Rajamouli, Prashanti Tipirineni and the beyond imagination direction of S.S. Rajamouli. Above all, the main artistes like Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Aushka Shetty, Tamanha Bhatia along with experienced artistes like Ramya Krishnan, Nasser, Satyaraj have displayed good team work, so as to remember them in the next part of the film, which is to follow.
It may be mentioned that a lot of research work was done for this film and it has achieved the results. No wonder, the film’s budget had made the provision of Rs 85 Crores for creating the visual effects only. So, one can imagine the huge budget of the film. The film has been released in 4000 cinema halls across the world simultaneously, including USA. So, the gross collections of this film, is expected to create new record . The film is certainly a worth watch. But, little children and sensitive women should be mentally prepared to watch some bloodshed , in the war scenes of the film, in the second half.
