Manjul Bharadwaj’s dance based multilingual play ‘Anhad Naad- Unheard Sounds of Unverse’ was first performed on 29th May 2015. Thereafter, this play was performed at various places, across Mumbai and Thane and received very good response from the audience. To celebrate their first anniversary , the group will perform this play at Shivaji Mandit , Dadar on 27th May at 8.30 PM.

Marathi film ,TV and stage Actress Yogini Chouk who is part of this play, is very excited about this event, which according to her, reminds her about her progress as an actress. “With one show performed every month, prospered me as an actress and as a human being. When I look back, I find my bag filled with lots of experience. Actually, the purpose behind presenting this play, was to understand ourselves, as part of this universe. This play was a guide to us, showing us directions towards creativity and artistic approach towards life. In short, this play helped us to liberate from the set square,” explained Yogini.

The staging of the first show was possible only because of the challenge accepted by the team of young artistes comprising of Yogini Chouk, Ashwini Nandedkar, Komal Khamkar, Sayali Pawaskar & Tushar Mhaske under the able leadership of their captain Manjul Bharadwaj. But, later the team became so confident that after every show, the team members interacted with the enthusiastic audience. Incidentally, this team has also been involved in training of children in theatre art, at different places in Maharashtra, by conducting regular workshops. Their next residential Theatre of Relevance workshop will be held between 19th & 25th May 2016 at Yusuf Meherally Centre Panvel.
It may be recalled that Magzmumbai had presented the trophy to Manjul Bharadwaj and his team , for this play The Best performing Theatre Art in Mumbai. On the occasion of their first anniversary, we wish them a grand success.
