The Box office report on last Friday released Bollywood film ‘Gully Boy’ says that it opened with a collection of Rs.19.40 crore, on its first day. And as of 18 February 2019 the film had grossed Rs.103.97 crores from India and Rs. 34.30 crores from overseas, taking its worldwide gross to Rs. 138.27 crore, which is a good news for film maker Zoya Akhtar.
Written by Vijay Maurya, Screenplay by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti and directed by Zoya Akhtar this film is co-produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Zoya Akhtar and Farhan Akhtar under the banners of Tiger Baby and Excel Entertainment productions. The story of this film is Inspired by the lives of street rappers Divine and Naezy and it stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, and features Kalki Koechlin, Vijay Raaz and Siddhant Chaturvedi, Amruta Subhash, Jyoti Subhash , Vijay Varma and others in supporting roles. In the title role Ranveer Singh has once again impressed with another wonderful performance after ‘Simba’.
This being a dream seller, is expected to inspire the music loving generation of youngsters.
