Well Known industrialist and social worker from Vile Parle Dr. Pushpa Ramesh Prabhu is no more. She died early morning today due to heart failure. She was 80. She is survived by son Shri Arwind Prabhu, who is President of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Smarak Trust, another son Capt Rajendra Prabhu, daughter Leena Ramesh Prabhu, son in law, daughter in law and grand daughter.

Dr. Pushpa Prabhu was Treasurer of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Smarak Trust, Juhu, which also successfully manages Prabhodhankar Thackeray Kreeda Sankul at Vile Parle, East. She used to regularly attend all major sports functions held at the Prabhodhankar Thackeray Kreeda Sankul. Dr. Pushpa was the wife of Late Ramesh Prabhu former MLA and Mayor of Mumbai. Her father Late Ganpatrao Tapase was the former Governor of Haryana.
With her sudden demise, the members of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Smarak Trust and Prabhodhankar Thackeray Kreeda Sankul have suffered a big shock. Team Magzmumbai express their deep condolences to her family members.
