Rahul Thackery, the creative director and producer of TV serials, married Dr.Aditi Redkar today morning, in Mumbai.
Son of Film maker and Social activist Smita Thakeray, Rahul and Aditi are childhood friends, since they studied together at Bombay Scottish School. After his graduation in Film making and animation from Canada, Rahul had produced and directed his own Marathi film ‘Radaa Rox, few years ago. The wedding ceremony in Mumbai was attended by Rahul’s uncles Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray.
Close family members, friends and few celebrities were present at the wedding, to bless the couple. Prominent among them were former speaker of Lok sabha Mr. Manohar Joshi, actor Jackie Shroff, singer Sonu Nigam and others. A grand wedding reception is scheduled this week, for special invitees.
