Renowned Veteran Table Tennis player Mrs. Shravani Durgesh Dhapre who has been performing well in the Masters’ TT events at the state, national and international level, has been nominated as Chairperson of Sports Section in the Sports & Cultural Committee of the Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport Undertaking (BEST).

Shravani had earlier served for three years as Hon. Secretary of Table Tennis department in the Sports & Cultural Committee of BEST Undertaking. As an active TT player in the Masters’ events, Shravani had reached finals in the Consolation Singles at the World Masters’ TT Championship held in USA ( 2018) and Muscat ( 2023). In the 2023-24 Commonwealth Masters’ TT Chapionship she had won Silver in Women’s Singles, Gold in Mixed doubles and Silver in Women’s doubles.
Having represented Maharashtra Masters’ Women’s team as Captain in 40+ section in the past, at the National Masters’ TT Championship, for three years , she has also won 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 7 bronze medals so far.
