‘Super 30’ directed by Vikas Bahl is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar a Patna-based mathematician , who runs the famed Super 30 program for IIT aspirants in Patna. Inspired by his Super 30 educational program , the film presents Hrithik Roshan and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles. This is the fourth film directed by Vikas Bahl, who had earlier directed films like ‘Chillar Party’,’Queen’ and ‘Shaandaar’. According to Trade reports, the film has grossed nearly Rs. 50 crore worldwide in first three days.
Shot at places like Ramnagar Fort, Sambhar Lake Town and specially erected sets in Mumbai, ‘Super 30’ is the first film which was also shot in Banaras Hindu University. The film has received mixed reviews from media, but the overall reaction of the regular film lovers is positive, having appreciated this sensible film . Moreover, Hrithik Roshan was returning to Bollywood after a gap of 2 years. So, obviously his fans were waiting for his film’s arrival.
