Gaurav Nagarkatti’s twin strikes helped Atlanta FC record an authoritative 5-1 win against Chedda Nagar Fanatics SC in a First Division match of the MDFA League 2017-2018 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Sunday. Prashant Anchan, Kazi Huzan and Alex Fernandes scored one each to complete the winning tally for Atlanta, while Chedda Nagar scored through Sameer Sawant.
In another match of the same division, Tarun Sporting Club got the better of PIFA Colaba Under-19 by a 3-1 margin. For Tarun Sporting the goals came through a brace of goals from Dinesh Pawar and one from Tabish Mulla. PIFA Colaba got their lone strike through Aman Gaikwad.
