Sports Psychologist Mr. Bhishmaraj Bam is no more


Renowned Sports Psychologist Mr. Bhishmaraj Bam is no more.  He was 80. He suffered heart attack today at Nashik, while delivering a lecture at Senior Citizens club. He was rushed to the hospiotal but was declared dead. Bhishmaraj Bam was a leading motivator for many leading sportspersons in India. He had earlier worked as a senior police officer for 34 years.Bhishmaraj Bam

 

Initially, Mr. Bam studied sports psychology as a hobby but later practiced sports psychology with the help of  science of yoga. Most of the top Indian sports personalities have benefited by his counselling. He worked successfully with a wide spectrum of achievers in various fields like corporates, medicine, law, education, performing arts and so on. His writing and oratory have won him a  large fan following

 

Mr. Bam showed how important was Mind and Body coordination, during the competition and suggested all the sportspersons to focus on their game, with a positive frame of mind. He emphasized the need of Yoga practices, for enhancement of an individual’s performance. With his passing away, Indian Sportspersons have lost their Bhishma Pitamah.
