New Hind CC’s Prasad Pawar was in terrific batting form scoring an unbeaten 179 runs (144-balls, 26x4s,4x6s) to put his team in a commanding position at 305 for 4 wickets from 57 over at the end of the first day of their two-day second round league of the 78th Police Invitation Shield Cricket Tournament 2025-26, organized jointly by the Commissionerate of Police Greater Mumbai and the Police Shield Committee and played at the National CC ground on Saturday.
Pawar’s teammates Gaurav Jathar and Ayush Jethwa played good supporting roles scoring half-century knocks of 54 and 51 respectively to bolster the New Hind innings.
