Victory Cricket Club managed to reach a total of 185 all out in 73 overs in the first innings against M.V. Sports Club on the first day of their two-day second semi-final match of the 29th Late Ajit Naik Memorial MCA Boys’ U-14 Selection Trials Cricket Tournament 2025, played at the Worli Sports Club ground on Thursday.

Sent into bat, the Victory CC innings was bolstered by Shreyas Khilare’s steady batting performance, 79 runs from 112 deliveries. Arjun Bhanushali played a good supporting role scoring 33 runs from 70 balls to lift the innings.
M.V. Sports Club bowlers Umair Nadeem 4 for 25 and Golu Pal 4 for 64 were responsible to pick up the wickets.
In reply, M.V. Sports Club in their first innings were reduced to 51 for 3 wickets in 27 overs at the draw of stumps on day one.
In the first semi-finals, Rizvi Sports Club were fortunate to get the better of Islam Gymkhana on the toss of the coin as unseasonal rains had made the ground conditions unplayable.
The two-day finals are scheduled to be played on November 10 and 11.
