In the 51st Boys and Girls State selection Kho Kho tournament being played at Ahilyanagar, Dharashiv team has won the Boys team championship while Sangli team has emerged winners in the Girls team event finals. While Dharashiv beat Solapur 26-20 in the Boys team finals; In the Girls team finals Sangli Girls beat Thane with a narrow margin of 30-28.
The best all round player awards went to Jitendra Vesave from Dharashiv and Sanika Chafe from Sangli. The best attacker awards went to Shambhuraj Chandanshive ( Solapur) and Praniti Jagadale ( Thane); while best defender awards were given to Sotya Valvi ( Dharashiv) and Shravani Tamkhede ( Sangli).
