Having lost their first two matches by a narrow margin of just one point, Century Warriors team recovered to beat Panthom Stars today evening, by a comfortable margin of 16-11 , to stay in the race of 8 team Super League being played at Khar Gymkhana. It was a wonderful display of team work by Century Warriors players comprising of Santosh Wakradkar, Anish Sontakke, Sampada Bhiwandkar, Aaditya Dalal, Raghav Mahajan and Naisha Rewaskar , when every game in their first six matches against their equally poised opponents seemed tough for them.

However, in the 7th match young Naisha Rewaskar secured 3 points beating Annisha Patra 3-0, followed by 8th match 3-0 win by Santosh Wakradkar & Raghav Mahajan over Ayaan Athar and Onkar Jog. This ensured their victory, though they lost their 9th match when Aditya Dalal lost to Kaustubh Girgaonkar 1-2. For Panthom Stars Sanil Shetty, Ayaan Athar and Kaustubh Girgaonkar scored two points each in their singles matches, while Sanil Shetty partnering Shruti Amrute bagged two more points.
Many other top players like Divyanshi Bhowmick, Jash Modi, Senhora D’souza, Pritha Vartikar, Parth Magar, Reeth Rishya, Madhurika Patkar, Raegan Albuquerque have taken part in this super league and are representing their respective teams along with many promising juniors. The League matches will continue on Saturday, followed by Knock out stage to be played on Sunday.
