Central Railway got the better of Union Bank of India 2-1 in an Elite Men’s match of the 15th Joe Fernandis Hockey Tournament 2026, organised by the AHWA and played at the St. Stanislaus High School turf ground, Bandra.
Sundaram Singh and Anup Walmiki got the victors goals while Kartik M scored for the bankmen.
In another match, Mumbai Customs got the better of CTC ‘A’ by an identical 2-1 margin. Jayesh Jadhav and Venkatesh Kenche were bang on target for Customs while Devinder Walmiki scored CTC’s consolation goal.
