Holders Mumbai South Centra( MSC) Maratha Royals team retained the 4th Mumbai T20 Nuvama Private Super League trophy beating ARCS Andheri team in a closely fought finals at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. With a nail biting finish witnessed live at the stadium by 31K spectators, Tushar Deshpande led Marartha Royals with good success, after skipper Siddhesh Lad suffered a serious injury on field. Tushar not only handled the situation well at the crucial stage, but also took two important wickets. He received good support from other bowlers two bowlers Dhumal and Umair. Tushar received the player of the match award, besides winning three other awards.

For the winners, Ayaz Khan scored a valuable 87 runs to help his build up a competitive target of 155 runs. ARCS Andheri had a good chance to defend this manageable target. But, except for Divyansh Saxena, who scored his third half century in this tournament and received the orange cap in this tournament, did not get support from his other team members like Arjun and Musheer, who did well with bat and ball in previous matches. ARCS Andheri skipper Shivam Dube had raised some hopes, when his team needed 49 runs in 30 balls. But, after his wicket, things became easy for MSC Maratha Royals to retain the title for the second successive year.
This tournament also offered good opportunityfor many talented players like Suved Parkar, Hardik Tamhore, Ayaz Khan, Chinmay Suthar, Nutan Goel, Ajay Mishra, Sylvester D’souza, Aharva Bhosale, Rohan Raje, Maxwell Swaminathan and few others. Suved Parkar received the Player of the tournament award.
