Indian squash player Yash Fadte won the RPM Power Aarhus Open in Denmark, one of the leading tournaments on the Danish squash calendar and a prominent tournament on the European squash circuit.

Fadte produced an impressive run throughout the tournament, defeating several highly ranked players on his way to the championship.
In the quarterfinals, the Goa-based Fadte defeated Karl Mcloughney, Ireland’s No. 3, 3–0 (11–7, 11–8, 11–9).
He followed that with a 3–1 victory over Malthe Laursen, Denmark’s No. 2, in the semi-finals.
In the final, Fadte faced Magnus Laursen, Denmark’s No. 1, and produced another outstanding performance, winning 3–1 (11–8, 18–16, 7–11, 11–4) in 62 minutes to clinch the top honours.
Fadte will now prepare for his next challenge, the PSA Aramis Open in Belgium, which begins in 10 days. He will then compete in the PSA Brest Squash Open in Brest, France, in three weeks.
