Tanvi Patri wins U-17 Badminton Asian Jr. Championship

15 year old Tanvi Patri of India outclassed South Korea’s Kim Min Sun 21-5, 21-6 in the finals of U-17 Badminton Asian Junior Championship at Chengdu, China to bag a Gold medal for India. With her latest performance, she has raised the hopes of sportslovers in India to see her as the next champion at the senior international level in years to come. Odisha born Tanvi trains at the Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy in Bengaluru.

With her skills, determination and killer instinct in the game, she is certainly a promising bright future for India in Badminton. At the national level Tanvi has won 10 medals out of which 7 are Gold and at the international level she has won 6 medals out of which 2 are gold. It may be recalled that in the year 2024 Tanvi had won the Asian Jr. U-15 Championship title .
