Chowgule Global SC was always in command as they romped to a 38-run win over Steam Pulse Sports Club in a league match of the Insurance Shield Cricket Tournament 2025-26 organised by Oriental Insurance Company and played at the Cross Maidan.
Powered by Jitesh Raut’s 92 runs compiled in 63 balls and Prakash Aswani unbeaten 35, Chowgule scored 183 for three in their 20 overs.
Jitesh followed up his fine display with the willow with two wickets for 18 to restrict Steam Pulse to 145 for 5. Unconquered knocks of 58 by Abhin Kumar and 26 by Ayush Mogal was the highlight of Pulse’s total.
In another match, Automotive Sports Club notched a 40-run win over Cipla Sports Club.
