Determined Darvada fights back to score tense victory

Playing with great determination and showing tremendous fighting qualities Mithun Darvada did well to overcome Abdus Shah in five tense games to carve out a hard-fought 10-12, 12-10, 11-9, 9-11, and 12-10 victory in a boys’ under-19 second round match of the Bombay Silver Scent-48 Bombay Gymkhana Maharashtra State Open Squash Championship 2025 played at the Bombay Gymkhana Squash Courts on Monday.

In another closely contested encounter, Prakash Chand after losing the opening game to Hriday Rajani rallied to win the next three games to record a 9-11, 11-2, 11-1, 11-7 win and proceed to the next round.

Meanwhile, Rachit Shah also produced a strong performance to overcome Shreyansh Jha in four games winning at 12-10, 8-11, 11-6, and 11-9.
