A splendid batting performance from Dev Singh, who smashed a double century helped Rizvi Sports Club clinch a win against Souvenir CC on the basis of having taken the first innings in their two-day quarter-final match of the 29th Late Ajit Naik Memorial MCA Boys’ U-14 Selection Trials Cricket Tournament 2025, played at the New Era ground, Azad Maidan on Thursday.

Sent in to bat, Souvenir CC were dismissed for 107 in 74.4 overs in their first innings.
Later, Rizvi’s Dev Singh batted confidently and hammered the Souvenir bowlers to all corners of the ground. He scored a huge 208 runs (195-balls, 28×4, 4×6), which propelled Rizvi’s innings to 289 for 9, declared in 74.1 overs.
Souvenir CC in their second scored 105 for 6 wickets in 32 overs.
