‘Fall’ is a tamil language Web series, which is an action packed mystery filled thriller made in six episodes and is available on Disney+ Hostar. This series directed by Siddharth Ramaswamy is also available in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi & Bengali dubbed versions. This series is an official remake of the Canadian web series ‘Vertige’. Starring Anjali, Santosh Prathap, Sastika Rajendran, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Namita Krishnamurthy, Sonia Agarwal and S.P. Charan in the lead roles, this series revolves around Dhivya, a young woman played by Anjali, who has been in Coma for six months, after falling off from the balcony of her room in the building of a Sports Complex managed by her.
When all other family members have given up hopes of her recovery, her friend and sister- in- law Malar ( Sonia Agarwal) is hopeful and suspects foul play in Dhivya’s fall, as she receives a message from Dhivya little before her fall, to reveal some secret. Though Dhivya recovers and opens her eyes, she loses her memory of the past days, particularly the happennings on the day of her fall. As she tries to recollect, she receives shocks one after the other and cannot trust anyone around her.
One expected unfolding of a mystery behind her fall, but the sixth final episode concludes with no solution, clearly indicating that the story may continue in the second season – 2 , which we expect to release soon.
Tamil and Telugu actress Anjali plays the most important character of Dhivya convincingly, with total sincerity to her character. She has recived equally good support from all other co artistes and the director to give a more realistic look to this series. Making this series available in five other regional languages besides Tamil and Hindi, assures multiple viewership to this series. Certainly a worth watch gripping series, as there are no rough language dialogues and unwanted abusive language , which is a common observation in many Hindi & Marathi web series, these days.
