Ketan Chawla sprang a big surprise eliminating Malkeet Singh in a round of 32 match of the Rs.32 lakh prize money NSCI Baulkline 4.0 all India snooker tournament at the NSCI Dome on Wednesday.
In deficit at 2-3, Chawla produced a classic display to turn the tables on the fancied Malkeet Singh 5-3, winning three frames in a row in the match set to nine frames.
Mohammed Hussain Khan of Railways also tasted success defeating Gaurav Jaisinghani 5-1 to advance to the next round. Elsewhere, E. Pandurangiah showed his class while putting it across Anand Mehta and Himanshu Jain beat A.Mudasir.
